46 years old Engineer Bulent, holding a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, is a highly experienced, qualified, fully trained, ocean-going Class I Chief Engineer (unlimited). His life as seamen started in 1983 and after working some years on commercial ships, in 1990 he transferred to private and charter yacht “M/Y Savarona” (136 meters) as chief engineer. He has worked in Savarona for 11 years and in S/Y Nazenin-IV (38 m) for 2 years prior to joining M/Y Jasmin in August'04. He has high maintenance and repairing experience in air-conditioning - fridge, outboard and inboard (petrol-diesel engines), hydraulic systems, scuba compressors, water makers, galley equipments, sanitary systems (microphone), oxy- acetylene welding and woodworks. He has full certificate appropriate for IMO-STCW Convention and he is a PADI Open Water Diver.
